तजमलनाडु जलजमटेड, कॉडेवलपर, म.ै एफअइएच आंजडया डेवलपर प्राआवेट जलजमटेड को पहले से ही आस क्षेत्र को पट्टे पर दे
चूका ह।ै मै. एफअइएच आंजडया डेवलपर प्राआवेट जलजमटेड ऄनजधसूजचत भूजम का ईपयोग एक डीटीए यूजनट स्ट्थाजपत करन े
के जलए ईपयोग करेगा;
और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार आस बात से संतष्टु ह ैदक ऄजधजनयम की धारा 3 की ईप-धारा (8) के ऄतं गयत ऄपक्षे ाओं तथा
ऄन्द्य सम्बंजधत ऄपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया ह;ै
ऄतः ऄब, जविेष अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की ईप-धारा (1) के दसू रे परन्द्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त
िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए और जविेष अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के ऄनसु रण म ें केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा
ईक्त जविेष अर्थथक िोन में से 16.28 हक्ट्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को ऄनजधसूजचत करती ह,ै जिसके पररमाणतः कुल क्षेत्रफल 97.785

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th April, 2022
S.O. 1720(E).—Whereas, M/s. State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited,
had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred
to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Electronics/Telecom Hardware and
Support Services, including Trading and Logistics activities at SIPCOT, Industrial Area, Sriperumbudur
Taluk, Kancheepuram District, in the State of Tamil Nadu;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)
of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified and
de-notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as details given below in the table: -

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited has now
proposed for de-notification of 16.28 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has given its approval to the proposal
vide letter No. 6805/MIE.2/2022-4, dated 23.03.2022;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, MEPZ Special Economic Zone has
recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 16.28 hectares of the Special Economic Zone.
Further, the Developer i.e., M/s. State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited has already
leased the land to the Co-Developer i.e., M/s. FIH India Developer Private Limited. The Co-Developer,
after de-notification will utilize the area for setting up a DTA unit;
NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8)
of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 16.28 hectares at State Industries
Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu, Industrial Area, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, in
the State of Tamil Nadu; thereby making resultant notified area as 97.785 hectares. The SF numbers and
the area for de-notification are given below in the table, namely: -
