जविेष आर्थधक िोन के जलए एक सजमजत, जिसे अनुमोिन सजमजत कहा िाएगा, गठित करती है, जिसके अध्यक्ष
और सिस्ट्य जनम्नानुसार है, अथाधत्-
1. जविेष आर्थधक िोन का जवकास आयुक्त अध्यक्ष,पिेन
2. जनिेिक अथवा उप-सजचव,भारत सरकार,वाजणज्य एव ं उद्योग मंत्रालय, वाजणज्य सिस्ट्य,पिेन
जवभाग या उसका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर अवर सजचव,भारत सरकार स ेकम नहीं होगा
3. जविेष आर्थधक िोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखने वाले क्षेत्रीय संयुक्त जविेि सिस्ट्य,पिेन
व्यापार महाजनिेिक
4. जविेष आर्थधक िोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखने वाले सीमा-िुल्क आयुक्त या सिस्ट्य,पिेन
केन्द्रीय उत्पाि िुल्क आयुक्त अथवा उनका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम

प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा दिनांक 23 िून, 2025 को उस तारीख के रूप में
जनधाधठरत करती ह ै जिस तारीख से उपयुधक्त जविेष आर्थधक िोन को सीमा-िुल्क अजधजनयम 1962 (1962 का
52) की धारा 7 के अंतगधत अंतिेिीय कंटेनर जडपो माना िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd June, 2025
S.O. 2789(E).— Whereas, M/s. Micron Semiconductor Technology India Private Limited,
has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act) to set up a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) exclusively for manufacturing
of semiconductors at Sanand, Ahmedabad District, in the State of Gujarat;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section
(8) of section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter
of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and
maintenance of the above Special Economic Zone on 17th June, 2025;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the
Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, hereby notifies the 37.64 hectares area comprising the Survey
numbers and the area given below in the table, namely: -
