NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th June, 2022
S.O. 2720(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Petroleum and
Natural Gas, S.O. Nos. and dates as mentioned in below Schedule issued under Sub-section (i) of Section 6, Petroleum
and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), the Central Government
acquired the Right of User in the said lands specified in the schedule appended to those notifications.
And whereas, in exercise of power conferred by Sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the said Act, the Central
Government vested the right of user in the lands free from all encumbrances in the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation
Limited.
And whereas, the Competent Authority has made a report to the Central Government that the pipeline has
been laid in the said lands and hence the operation may be terminated for Barmer to Palanpur finished product
pipeline in the state of Rajasthan in respect of the said land which in brief are specified in the Schedule annexed to this
Notification.
Now, therefore, as required under Explanation 1 of Rule 4 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipeline
Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Rules, 1963, the Central Government hereby declare the date on which this
notification is published in the Gazette of India as the date of “Termination of Operation” in ROU in the villages
mentioned below in Tehsil: Pachpadra and Sindhari of District: Barmer and Tehsil: Sayla, Bagoda, Bhinmal and
