का.अ. 5023(ऄ).—यत:, मै. स्ट्टेट आंडस्ट्रीि प्रमोिन कारपोरेिन तजमलनाडु जलजमटेड ने तजमलनाडु राज्य में
कल्लाकुररची जिले के ईलुंदरु पेट तालुक के ए सथानुर गांव में एक बहु-क्षेत्रीय जविेष अर्थथक क्षेत्र की स्ट्थापना हते ु जविेष
अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28), (जिसे एतद्पश्चात् ईक्त ऄजधजनयम कहा गया ह)ै की धारा 3 के ऄंतगगत
प्रस्ट्ताव दकया ह;ै
और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार आस बात से संतुष्ट ह ै दक ईक्त ऄजधजनयम की धारा 3 की ईप.धारा (8) के ऄतंगगत
ऄपेक्षाओं तथा ऄन्द्य सबंजधत ऄपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया ह ै और ईनको ईपयगक्तु जविेष अर्थथक िोन के जवकास,
प्रचालन एवं रखरखाव हेतू ईक्त ऄजधजनयम की धारा 3 की ईपधारा (10) के ऄतंगगत ददनांक 4 िुलाइ, 2023 को
ऄनुमोदन पत्र प्रदान कर ददया है;
ऄतः ऄब, जविेष अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की ईप.धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग
करते हुए और जविेष अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 ऄनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा ईक्त स्ट्थान के
77.0950 हेक्टेयर के नीचे दी गइ ताजलका में ददए गए सवेक्षण संख्याओं के क्षेत्रों को ऄजधसूजचत करती है, ऄथागत्ः-

और ऄतः, जविेष अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28) की धारा 13 की ईप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त
िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा ईक्त ऄजधजनयम की धारा 14 के प्रयोिनाथग ईपयुगक्त जविेष अर्थथक
िोन के जलए एक सजमजत, जिसे ऄनुमोदन सजमजत कहा िाएगा, गरित करती ह,ै जिसके ऄध्यक्ष और सदस्ट्य जनम्नानुसार
ह,ै ऄथागत्-
1. जविेष अर्थथक िोन का जवकास अयक्तु ऄध्यक्ष,पदेन
2. जनदेिक ऄथवा ईप-सजचव, भारत सरकार, वाजणज्य एवं ईद्योग मंत्रालय, वाजणज्य जवभाग या सदस्ट्य,पदेन
ईसका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर ऄवर सजचव, भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा
3. जविेष अर्थथक िोन पर भ-ू भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखन े वाले क्षेत्रीय संयुक्त जवदेि व्यापार सदस्ट्य,पदेन
महाजनदेिक
4. जविेष अर्थथक िोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखने वाल े सीमा-िुल्क अयक्तु या केन्द्रीय सदस्ट्य,पदेन
ईत्पाद िुल्क अयक्तु ऄथवा ईनका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर संयुक्त अयक्तु से कम नहीं होगा
5. जविेष अर्थथक िोन पर भ-ू भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखने वाले अयकर अयक्तु ऄथवा ईसका सदस्ट्य,पदेन
नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर संयुक्त अयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा
6. जनदेिक (बैंककग),जवत मंत्रालय,बैंककग प्रभाग,भारत सरकार सदस्ट्य,पदेन
7. राज्य सरकार द्वारा नाजमत दकए िाने वाले दो ऄजधकारी जिनका स्ट्तर संयुक्त सजचव से कम सदस्ट्य,पदेन
नहीं होगा
8. िोन के जवकासकताग का प्रजतजनजध जविेष,अंमजत्रती
और यतः, जविेष अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम 2005 (2005 का 28) की धारा 53 की ईप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त
िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा ददनांक 22 नवम्बर, 2023 को ईस तारीख के रूप में जनधागररत करती
है जिस तारीख से ईपयगक्तु जविेष अर्थथक िोन को सीमा-िुल्क ऄजधजनयम 1962 (1962 का 52) की धारा 7 के ऄंतगगत
ऄंतदेिीय कंटेनर जडपो माना िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd November, 2023
S.O. 5023(E).—Whereas, M/s. State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited, has proposed
under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set
up a Multi-Sector Special Economic Zone at A Sathanur Village, Ullundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District, in the State
of Tamil Nadu;[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : ऄसाधारण 3
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3
of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10)
of section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the above Special Economic Zone on 4th
July, 2023;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules,
2006, hereby notifies the 77.0950 hectares area comprising the Survey numbers and the area given below in the table,
namely: -

AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval
Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of section 14 of the said Act consisting of the
following Chairperson and Members, namely:-
1. Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone Chairperson ex officio;
2. Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Member ex officio;
Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not below
the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India
3. Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial jurisdiction Member ex officio;
over the Special Economic Zone
4. Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial jurisdiction over Member ex officio;
the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint
Commissioner
5. Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Member ex officio;
Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner
6. Director (Banking) in the Ministry of Finance, Banking Division, Government Member ex officio;
of India
7. Two officers, not below the rank of Joint Secretary, to be nominated by the Member ex officio;
State Government
8. Representative of the Developer of the zone Special invitee
AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of
section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby appoints the 22nd November, 2023 as the
date from which the above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot under section 7 of
the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962).
