(2) य े रािपत्र म ेंप्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होंगे।
2. पि की संख्या, िगीकरण और िेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर— उि पि की संख्या, उसका िगीकरण और इससे उपाबद्ध िेतन
मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर िह होगा िो इन जनयमों से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्ट्तम्भ (2) से स्ट्तम्भ (4) म ेंजिजनर्िष्टकि ह।ैं

5. जिजर्ल करने की िजि— िहााँ केंद्रीय सरकार की यह राय ह ै दक सा करना आिश्यक या समीचीन है, िहां िह उसके
जलए िो कारण ह,ैं उन् ह ें लेखबद्ध करके, तर्ा संघ लोक सेिा आयोग से परामिकि करके इन जनयमों के दकसी उपबंध को दकसी
िगकि या प्रिगकि के व्यजियों की बाबत, आिेि द्वारा जिजर्ल कर सकेगी।
6. व् यािृजत्त— इन जनयमों की कोई बात, से आरक्षण, आय-ु सीमा में छूट और अन्य ट्ररयायतों पर प्रभाि नहीं डालगे ी,
जिनका केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय पर िारी दकए गए आिेिों के अनुसार अनुसूजचत िाजतयों, अनुसूजचत

ऑफ इंिीजनयररंग या बैचलर ऑफ टेक्नोलॉिी की जडग्री, और
(ii) जिजभन्न अयस्ट्कों और खजनिों के सज्जीकरण हते ु खजनि सज्जीकरण और/या खजनि अजभलक्षणन का संचालन करन े
िाली केन्द्रीय सरकार या राज्य सरकार या संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों या लोक सेिा उपक्मों या मान्यताप्राप्त अनुसंधान संस्ट्र्ाओं या
स्ट्िायत्तिासी या िैधाजनक संगठनों की दकसी मान्यताप्राप्त प्रयोगिाला या संयंत्र में अठारह िषकि का अनुभि।

पर जनयुजि पर जिचार करन े के जलए जनधाकिट्ररत िैक्षजणक योग्यता और अनुभि रखन े िाल े जिभागीय मुख्य अयस्ट्क प्रिाधन
अजधकारी पर बाहरी लोगो के सार् जिचार दकया िाएगा। यदि पि पर जनयुजि के जलए जिभागीय उम्मीििार का चयन
दकया िाता ह,ै तो इस े प्रोन्नजत द्वारा भरा गया माना िाएगा।
ट्रटप्पण-2: केन्द्रीय सरकार के उसी या दकसी अन्य संगठन या जिभाग में इस जनयुजि से ठीक पहले धाट्ररत दकसी अन्य काडर
बाहय पि पर प्रजतजनयुजि की अिजध सजहत प्रजतजनयुजि की अिजध सामान्य रूप से पांच िषकि से अजधक नहीं होगी।

G.S.R. 399(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the
Constitution and in supersession of the Indian Bureau of Mines, Director (Ore Dressing), Chief Ore
Dressing Officer, Superintending Officer (Ore Dressing), Ore Dressing Officer, Deputy Ore Dressing
Officer, Assistant ore Dressing Officer and Assistant Research Officer (Ore Dressing) Recruitment
Rules, 2003, in so far as it relates to the post of Director (Ore Dressing), except as respects things done
or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules
regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Director (Ore Dressing) in Indian Bureau of Mines,
Ministry of Mines, namely:-—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Mines, Indian
Bureau of Mines, Director (Ore Dressing) (Group ‘A’ Post) Recruitment Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of the said post, its
classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of
the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.-— The method of recruitment, age-limit,
qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of
the Schedule.
4. Disqualification .— No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under
the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other
grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so
to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union
Public Service Commission and relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or
category of persons.
6. Saving. — Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit, and other
concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other
Backward Classes, the Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the

recognised University or Institution,

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Mineral Engineering or Chemical
Engineering or Metallurgy from a recognised University or Institution, and
(ii) Eighteen years experience in a recognised laboratory or plant of Central Government or State

autonomous or statutory organisation conducting Mineral Beneficiation and/or Mineral Characterization for
beneficiation of various ores and minerals.
Note-1: Departmental Chief Ore Dressing Officer in the level 14 in the pay matrix (Rs.144200-218200)
with three years regular service in the grade and having the educational qualifications and experience
prescribed for considering appointment on deputation basis shall be considered alongwith outsiders. If the
departmental candidate is selected for appointment to the post, it shall be treated as having been filled by
promotion.
Note-2: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held
immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department of Central
Government shall ordinarily not exceed five years.
Note-3: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty eight years as
on the closing of receipt of application.
If a Departmental Promotion Committee Circumstances in which Union Public Service
exists, what is its composition. Commission is to be consulted in making recruitment.
