अध्यक्ष और सिस्ट्य जनम्नानुसार ह,ै अिाित-् 1. जविेष आर्ििक िोन का जवकास आयक्तु अध्यक्ष,पिेन 2. जनिेिक अिवा उप-सजचव, भारत सरकार, वाजणज्य एव ं उद्योग मंत्रालय, वाजणज्य सिस्ट्य,पिेन जवभाग या उसका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर अवर सजचव, भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा 3. जविेष आर्ििक िोन पर भ-ू भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखन े वाले क्षत्रे ीय संयुक्त जविेि व्यापार सिस्ट्य,पिेन महाजनिेिक 4. जविेष आर्ििक िोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखने वाले सीमा-िुल्क आयुक्त या केन्द्रीय सिस्ट्य,पिेन उत्पाि िुल्क आयक्तु अिवा उनका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर संयुक्त आयक्तु से कम नहीं होगा 5. जविेष आर्ििक िोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखन े वाल े आयकर आयक्तु अिवा उसका सिस्ट्य,पिेन नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा 6. जनिेिक (बैंककंग),जवत मंत्रालय,बैंककंग प्रभाग,भारत सरकार सिस्ट्य,पिेन 7. राज्य सरकार द्वारा नाजमत दकए िाने वाले िो अजधकारी जिनका स्ट्तर संयुक्त सजचव स े सिस्ट्य,पिेन कम नहीं होगा 8. िोन के जवकासकताि का प्रजतजनजध जविेष, आंमजत्रती और यतः, जविेष आर्ििक िोन अजधजनयम 2005 (2005 का 28) की धारा 53 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा दिनांक 9 जसतम्बर, 2024 को उस तारीख के रूप म ें जनधािठरत करती ह ै जिस तारीख स े उपयुिक्त जविषे आर्ििक िोन को सीमा-िुल्क अजधजनयम Venkatesh Coke & Power Limited, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a Free Trade6 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) at Athipattu, Nandiambakkam and Puzhuthivakkam Villages, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvalur District in the State of Tamil Nadu, AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the above Special Economic Zone on 03rd July, 2017; NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, hereby notifies the 42.829 hectares area comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE Sl. Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone Chairperson ex officio; 2. Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Member ex Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not below the rank of Under officio; Secretary to the Government of India 3. Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial jurisdiction over the Member ex Special Economic Zone officio; 4. Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial jurisdiction over the Member ex Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner officio; 5. Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Member ex Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner officio; 6. Representative of the Developer of the zone Special invitee AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby appoints the 9th September, 2024 as the date from which the above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot under section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962).
