New Delhi, the 15th January, 2025
S.O. 278(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956
(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the Special District Revenue officer, Land Acquisition,
National Highways, Pudukkottai mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule annexed here to as the competent authority
to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification
in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land for formation of Bypass to GangaiKonda Cholapuram (Design
Chainage Km. 0/000 to Km. 7/180) from Km. 284/500 to Km. 289/433 in Kallagam to Meensurity section of NH-81
[Old NH-227] for building (widening /two lane with paved shoulder / four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and
operation of the said National Highway in the State of Tamil Nadu, as specified in the schedule below:-
