**2. Introduction:**
The purpose of this report is to provide an informative analysis of the notification S.O. 374E, published by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on January 28, 2022. This analysis is based solely on the content of the provided policy text and aims to clarify the policy's objectives, provisions, and potential impact.
**3. Policy Overview:**
This is a *New Policy* establishing the authorization of officers to manage a specific stretch of highway.
* **Core Objective(s):** The primary objective, inferred from the text, is to facilitate the widening, laning, maintenance, management, and operation of a section of National Highway No. 716G in Andhra Pradesh by empowering competent authorities. This likely aims to improve transportation infrastructure and connectivity in the region. Land acquisition is a core component mentioned.
