New Delhi, the 22nd July, 2026
S.O. 4027(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule
annexed here to as the competent authorities to perform the functions of such authorities under the said Act with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the
corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Schedule relating to state, district, taluk and villages mentioned in the
column (4), (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said schedule for building, maintenance, management and operation of
Four Lane Bridge including Approaches over River Brahmaputra between Dhubri on the North Bank and Phulbari on
the South bank on NH-127B, from Design Chainage Km 18+624 to Km 19+282 in West Garo Hills District in the
State of Meghalaya.
