NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th February, 2022
S.O. 879(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways, number S.O.3028 (E) Dated 29.07.2021 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in
the Schedule annexed to the said notification for construction of by pass road to Narsapuram town on NH-216
starting from Km.126 of NH-214 (New NH-216) near approach of Chinchinada bridge passing through Greenfield
up to Malkipuram Village on SH-100, following SH-100 for 2 Km. length on Malkipuram and again traversing
through Greenfield with provision of Bridge across river Vasista Godavari (Sitting at Irrigation chainage 86 of bund)
connecting Pedalanka Village, Ramannapalem Village Greenfield area and ending at Km. 10.8 of NH-214A (New
NH-216) before toll plaza on LHS (Coastal side) of existing NH-216 for total length of 23.200 Km. in the state of
Andhra Pradesh maintenance, management and operation in the District of East Godavari in the State of ANDHRA
PRADESH.
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Hindu” and “Andhrajyothi”
both dated 05.08.2021 under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the
competent Authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
