LA/DER/125/2019/3D] रािेि गुप् ता, जनदेिक MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st June, 2021 S.O. 2433(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), vide SO 3694 (E) dated 20th October, 2020, the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of NH37 on the stretch of land from Km 426.8 to Km 437.4 (office of Deputy Commissioner Golaghat) in the district of GOLAGHAT in the State of ASSAM; And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “The Assam Tribune” and “Dainik Janambhumi” both dated 24th October, 2020; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Corrigendum published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) vide S.O. No. 1445(E) dated 05th April, 2021; And whereas, the substance of the said Corrigendum of notification has been published in "The Assam Tribune" and "Dainik Janambhumi" both dated 07th May, 2021; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas, NIL objections have been received by the competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government;[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : ऄसाधारण 9 Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
