का.आ. 3201(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार ने, राष्ट्रीय रािमाग ग अजधजनयम, 1956 (1956 का 48) (जिसे इसम ें इसके
पश्चात ् उक्त अजधजनयम कहा गया ह)ै की धारा 3क की उपधारा (1) के अधीन िारी की गई भारत सरकार के सड़क
पररवहन और रािमाग ग मंत्रालय की अजधसूचना संख्या का.आ. 840(अ) तारीख 22.02.2023, िो भारत के रािपत्र,
असाधारण संख्या :807, भाग II, खण्ड 3, उपखंड (ii) म ें प्रकाजित की गई थी, द्वारा तजमलनाडु राज्य के अररयालुर जिल े
म ें राष्ट्रीय रािमाग ग संख्या-227 के दक.मी. 40/150 स े दक.मी. 103/320 (जत्रची-जचिंबरम अनुभाग) तक के राष्ट्रीय
रािमाग ग के जनमागण (चौड़ा करने/चार लेन का बनाने, आदि), अनुरक्षण, प्रबंधन और प्रचालन के जलए उस अजधसूचना स े
उपाबद्ध अनुसूची म ें जवजनर्िष्टग भूजम का अिगन करने के अपन ेआिय की घोषणा की थी ;
और िबदक उक्त अजधसूचना का सार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3ए की उप-धारा (3) के तहत दिनांक
01 अप्रैल-2023 को "ि हहिं "ू और "डेली थांथी" िोनों म ें प्रकाजित दकया गया ह;ै
और िबदक सक्षम प्राजधकारी और जविेष जिला रािस्ट्व अजधकारी, जतरुजचरापल्ली/अररयालुर द्वारा 4 आपजि
याजचकाएं प्राप्त और जनपटा िी गई ह।ैं
और िबदक, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3डी की उप-धारा (आई) के अनुसरण म,ें सक्षम प्राजधकारी और जविेष
जिला रािस्ट्व अजधकारी, जतरुजचरापल्ली/अररयालुर ने अपनी ररपोट गकेंर सरकार को सौंप िी ह।ै

और इसके अलावा, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3डी की उपधारा (2) के अनुसरण म,ें केंर सरकार एतद्द्वारा घोषणा
करती ह ैदक आजधकाररक रािपत्र म ें इस अजधसूचना के प्रकािन पर, उक्त अनुसूची म ें जनर्िष्टग भूजम पूरी तरह स े केंर सरकार
म ेंजनजहत हो िाएगी।,सभी बंधनों से मुक्त।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th July, 2023
S.O. 3201(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways number S.O.No.840 (E), dated 22nd Feb 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
No:807, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to
acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening /Two-laning/four-
laning, etc.) maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No – 227 on the stretch of land from
Km.40/150 to Km.103/320 (Trichy – Chidambaram section) in Ariyalur District in the State of Tamil Nadu;
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “The Hindu” and
“Daily Thanthi” both dated the 01st Apr -2023 under Sub- section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And whereas 4 objection petitions has been received and disposed by Competent Authority and Special
District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli/Ariyalur .
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of Section 3D of the said Act, The Competent Authority and
Special District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli / Ariyalur has submitted his report to the Central Government.
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of The Competent Authority and Special District Revenue
Officer, Tiruchirappalli / Ariyalur in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 3D of the said
Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the
aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

Brief description of the lands to be acquired with or without structure falling within the
stretch of land from Km. 40/150 to Km. 103/320 (Trichy –Chidambaram Section) of the National
Highway No. 227 in the State of Tamil Nadu.
