14.08.2024 द्वारा, केंद्र सरकार न े तजमलनाडु राज्य के कल्लाकुररची जिल े म ें दकमी 0.313 स े दकमी 136.67 (सलेम -
उलुंिरु पेट खंड) तक के भूजम खंड म ें एनएच 79 के जनमागण (चौड़ीकरण / चार लेननगं , आदि), रखरखाव, प्रबंधन और
संचालन के जलए उक्त अजधसूचना स े संलग्न अनुसूची म ेंजनर्िगष्ट भूजम का अजधग्रहण करन े की अपनी मंिा की घोषणा की ह।ै
और िबदक उक्त अजधसूचना का सार “िनहिं ”ू और “डेलीथांथी” िोनों म ें दिनांक 03.09.2024 को प्रकाजित दकया
गया ह;ै उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3ए की उपधारा (3) के अंतगगत;

और िबदक, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3डी की उपधारा (1) के अनुसरण म,ें सक्षम प्राजधकारी न े अपनी ररपोटग केंद्र
सरकार को प्रस्ट्तुत कर िी ह;ै

अतः अब सक्षम प्राजधकारी की उक्त ररपोटग प्राप्त होन े पर तथा उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3डी की उपधारा (1)
द्वारा प्रिि िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्द्रीय सरकार यह घोषणा करती ह ै दक उक्त अनसु ूची म ें जवजनर्िगष्ट भूजम पूवोक्त
प्रयोिन के जलए अर्िगत की िानी चाजहए;
और इसके अजतररक्त उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3डी की उपधारा (2) के अनुसरण म ें केन्द्द्रीय सरकार यह घोषणा
करती ह ै दक इस अजधसूचना के रािपत्र म ें प्रकािन होन े पर उक्त अनुसूची म ें जवजनर्िगष्ट भूजम सभी भारग्रस्ट्तताओं स े मुक्त

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th April, 2025
S.O. 1777(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways, 3478 Dated:14.08.2024 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-
section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule
annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation
of NH79 in the stretch of land from Km. 0.313 to Km. 136.67 (Salem - Ulundurpet section) in the district of
Kallakurichi in the state of TAMIL NADU
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “THE HINDU” and “DAILY
THANTHI” both dated 03.09.2024; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And whereas an objection has been received from one Thiru. Aranga Elangovan and it was set aside in the
order of Villupuram Competent Authority and Special District Revenue officers (LA), National
Highways, Proceedings A3/E-2898324/2025 Dated. 26.02.2025 by the Competent Authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
