और जबदक, उक्त अजधसूचना और स्ट्थानीय समाचार पत्र म ें इसके प्रकािन के उत्तर म,ें सक्षम प्राजधकारी को
अजधग्रहण के जलए प्रस्ट्ताजवत भूमी म ेंरुजच रखन ेवाले दकसी व्यक्ती से कोई आपजत्त प्राप्त नहीं हो रही थी;

(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हए, केन्द्रीय सरकार, एतद्द्वारा यह घोषणा करती ह ै दक इसके साथ उपाबद्ध उक्त
अनुसूची म ें जवजनर्ददष्ट अजतररक्त भूजम का पूवोक्त प्रयोजन के जलए अजधग्रहण दकया जाएगा;
और इसके अजतररक्त, केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 (घ) की उप-धारा (2) के अनुसरण म,ें एतद्द्वारा
यह घोषणा करती ह ै दक इस अजधसूचना के राजपत्र म ें प्रकािन पर, इसके साथ उक्त अनसु ूची म ें जवजनर्ददष्ट भूजम, सभी

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th January, 2022
S.O. 142(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways, Department of Road Transport and Highways number S. O. 2857 (E) published in Official Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II dated 16/07/2021, Section 3, sub-section (2) issued under subsection (1) of section 3A of
the National Highways Act. 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government
declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for maintenance,
management and operation of National Highway No. NH-17 (New NH-66) in the stretch of land “Construction of
four/ six lane bridge including approaches across river Zuari on NH-17 in state of Goa.”(Additional Area-I).
And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in Official Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II dated 16/07/2021 Section 3, sub – section (ii) issued under subsection (1) of section 3A of the
National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), ―The Goan Everyday‖ dated:
20/07/2021 and ―Pudhari‖ dated 21/07/2021under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act:
And whereas, in response to the said notification and its publication in the local newspaper, the competent
Authority was not in receipt of any objection from any person interested in the land, proposed for acquisition;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now, therefore upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And, further in pursuance of sub section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule shall vest
absolutely in the Central Government.
