और िबदक, आक्षेप प्राप्त हुए थ े और सक्षम प्राजधकारी न े उन पर जवचार कर जलया ह ै और आक्षेपों को अननुज्ञात
कर ददया ह ै/ िबदक सक्षम प्राजधकारी द्वारा दकसी भी व्यजक्त स े कोई आपजि नहीं प्राप्त दकया ह;ै
और िबदक, सक्षम प्राजधकारी ने उक्त अजधनीयम की धारा 3घ की उप-धारा (1) के अनुसरण में, केन्द्रीय सरकार
को अपनी ररपोट गदे दी ह;ै

(1) द्वारा प्रदि िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार, एतद्वारा यह घोषणा करती ह ै दक उक्त अनुसूची म ें जवजनर्ददष्ट
भूजम का पूवोक्त प्रयोिन के जलए अजधग्रहण दकया िना चाजहए;
और इसके अजतररक्त, केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3घ की उप-धारा (2) के अनुसरण म,ें एतद्वारा
यह घोणा करती ह ै दक इस अजधसूचना के िासकीया रािपत्र म ें प्रकािन पर, उक्त अनसु ूची म ें जवजनर्ददष्ट भूजन, सभी

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th July, 2022
S.O. 3531(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways number S.O. 1590(E), dated the 04th April, 2022, published in the Gazette of
India, extraordinary, Part-II, Section -3, Sub-section (ii) and issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3A of
the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central
Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the notification
for "Development to 4/6-lanning of NH-31 (New NH-10) with both sides service roads from km
569.258 to km 581.030 (End of AH-02 from Shivmandir to Sevoke Army Cantonment) in the districts
of Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri, West Bengal on EPC Mode”
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "The Telegraph",
"Ananda Bazar Patrika" and "Dainik Jagran“ all dated on 20.04.2022 under sub-section (3) of Section 3A
of the said Act.
And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by
the competent authority.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 3D of the said Act, the competent
authority has submitted its report to the Central Government.4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
Now therefore, upon receipt on the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the
powers conferred by the sub-section(1) of Section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the said
schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
