R. 364(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 32 read with sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 11 of the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 (25 of 1990), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Deputy Director of Administration Recruitment Rules, 2023, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Deputy Director of Administration (Amendment) Recruitment Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Deputy Director of Administration Recruitment Rules, 2023, in the Schedule, in column (11), the existing Note shall be renumbered as Note 1 thereof and after Note 1 as so renumbered, the following Note shall be inserted, namely;- “Note 2.- Eligibility criteria for promotion of incumbents holding feeder cadre posts on regular basis, prior to the 20th day of September, 2023, shall continue to be governed by the earlier rules, namely, the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Deputy Director of Administration Recruitment Rules, 2018.” [F.
