G197/2024/MRVC/Bhivpuri EMU Carshed/Aug/20E] अवनीि क मार पाण्डेय, म ख्य प्रिासजनक अजधकारी (जनमािण) MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (CENTRAL RAILWAY) SUPPLEMENTARY NOTIFICATION (This E - Gazette Will Be Supplementary Gazette Notification to Earlier Published E-Gazette Notification No. CG -MH-E-24112023-250194 Dated 18.11.2023 And E-Gazette Notification No. CG-MH-E-11122023-250559 Dated 08.12.2023) Mumbai, the 13th August, 2024 S.O. 3451(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O 3198 (E), dated 18th Jul, 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section - 3, Sub- Section (ii), (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (1) of[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 section 20 A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance, management and operation of a Special Railway Project namely, “EMU Maintenance Facilities i.e. Bhivpuri-Karjat EMU Carshed and POH Facilities” in Tahsil Karjat, District- Raigad in the state of Maharashtra. And whereas, under sub-section (4) of section 20 A of the said Act, the substance of said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers namely, “The Free Press Journal” (English), dated 20-07-2023 and “LOKMAT” (Marathi) dated 20-07-2023 and whereas objections have been received under section 20(D) and the same have been considered/disposed/disallowed by the Competent Authority. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Central Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub – section (1) of the section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
