Posted On: 19 SEP 2026 7:59PM by PIB Delhi The Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan will witness a major nationwide youth mobilisation on 20 September 2026, with the Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh being organised across 1,067 locations through MY Bharat and its partner organisations across the country.

The programme will be organised across 471 District MY Bharat Offices, along with 596 locations of partner organisations, bringing together youth through a collective Nasha Mukt Pledge and Signature Campaign. The extensive network of participating organisations includes educational and university bodies, industry associations, spiritual organisations, NGOs and local partner organisations.

Among the participating partner organisations are spiritual organisations including Maa Amritanandmayi Math conducting in 130 locations, Heartfulness in 74 locations and BAPS in 56 locations. The partner network also includes EPSI, CIPU, AIU , Project Point , ASSOCHAM , CII , FICCI , 245 local partner organisations and 18 MY Bharat chapters in private/premier institutes.

The Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh will bring the campaign’s message directly to young people through Nasha Mukt Pledge, Signature Campaign, thematic street plays, slogan writing and youth-led discussions.

The participatory formats are aimed at creating spaces for young people to express their views, engage with peers and communities, and translate awareness into positive action.The mobilisation follows the nationwide activities undertaken on 18 September, which marked the opening of the campaign’s current phase. The first day recorded participation across 259 institutions, with 1,430 activities conducted and 1,46,520 participants mobilised across all 28 States and 8 Union Territories.

Activities included pledge-taking ceremonies, signature campaigns, thematic street plays and youth-led discussions.

The 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan is being implemented as a sustained youth movement with a focus on prevention, awareness, healthy lifestyles and positive youth engagement. The first activity cycle is structured around three broad themes—My Health, My Pride; Fit Youth, Addiction-Free Youth; and Life Skills Month—with activities designed to promote health, fitness, community participation and life skills.

The Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh on 20 September will therefore serve as a significant nationwide moment of youth participation, bringing together MY Bharat, partner organisations and young people around a shared commitment to healthier choices and a Nasha Mukt future.
