सजमजत का कायकय ाल
सजमजत के सदस्ट्यों का काययकाल सामान्य रूप से गठन की तारीख से जनम्नजलजखत बातों के अधीन 3 वषय तक
रहगे ा:
(क) जो संसद सदस्ट्य सजमजत के सदस्ट्य ह,ैं वे संसद सदस्ट्य न रहने पर सजमजत के सदस्ट्य नहीं रहगें ।े
(ख) सजमजत के पदने सदस्ट्य अपने पद पर कायय करते रहने तक सजमजत के सदस्ट्य रहगें े।
(ग) यदद दकसी सदस्ट्य की मृत्यु हो जाने के कारण अथवा सजमजत की सदस्ट्यता से त्याग पत्र देने के कारण स्ट्थान ररक्त
होता ह,ै तो उस स्ट्थान पर जनयक्तु सदस्ट्य 3 वष यके काययकाल की िेष अवजध के जलए ही सदस्ट्य होगा।
सामान्य
सजमजत का मुख्यालय नई ददल्ली म ें होगा, ककतु सजमजत अपनी बैठक आवययकता पडन े पर ददल्ली से बाहर दकसी
अन्य स्ट्थान पर भी कर सकती ह।ै
यात्रा तथा अन्य भत्त े
सजमजत की बैठकों में भाग लेन े के जलए गैर-सरकारी सदस्ट्यों को राजभाषा जवभाग के ददनांक 03 फरवरी, 2006
के कायायलय ज्ञापन सं. II/20034/04/2005-रा.भा. (नीजत-2) में जनजहत ददिाजनदेि के अनरूु प और भारत सरकार द्वारा
समय-समय पर यथा-संिोजधत जनधायररत दरों एवं जनयमों के अनुसार, यात्रा भत्ता और दैजनक भत्ता ददया जाएगा।

Functions of the Samiti
The Functions of the Samiti will be to advise the Ministry of Women and Child Development on the
effective implementation of Official Language policy of the Government of India and other matters
connected therewith.
Tenure of the Samiti
The tenure of the members of the Samiti shall be three years from the dated of issues of resolution,
provided, provided that:-
A) A member who is a Member of Parliament ceases to be Member of the Samiti as soon as she/he
ceases to be a Member of Parliament.
B) Ex-Officio Members to the Samiti shall continue as Members as long as they hold the office by
virtue of which they are Members of the Samiti.
C) If a vacancy arises on the Samiti due to resignation of death of a Member, the Member
appointed in that capacity shall hold the office for the residual term.

Headquarters of the Samiti will be in New Delhi but Samiti may hold its meeting in any place
other than Delhi, if necessary.
TA and other Allowances
The non-official members will be paid TA/DA for attending the meeting of the Committee as per
guidelines and at the rates revised/prescribed by Government of India form time to time vide Deptt. Of OL
