G.S.R. 687(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services
Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rules (1) and (2) of rule 4 of the All Indian Services (Joint Cadre) Rules, 1972,
the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of States concerned hereby constitutes the Joint Cadre
Authority for Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service and Indian Forest Service Joint Cadres of Arunachal
Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories, as below :─
“1. Union Home Secretary – Member [representative of all UTs in respect of IAS/IPS]
2) Director General of Forest and Special Secretary – Member [representative of all UTs in respect of IFS]
