NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th December, 2022
S.O. 6070(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Tea Act,
1953 (29 of 1953), read with rules 4 and 5 of the Tea Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby appoints
the following persons as members of the Tea Board, for a period of three years from the date of publication
of this notification in the Official Gazette and makes the following further amendments in the notification
of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Tea Control), number
S.R.O. 944, dated the 17th day of March, 1954.
2. In the said notification, after serial number 12 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial
numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
“13. Shri Sushil K Berlia Member representing owners of tea estates and gardens
and growers of tea under clause (c) of sub-rule
(1) of rule 4.
14. Shri Ashok K Goyal Member representing owners of tea estates and gardens
and growers of tea under clause (c) of sub-rule
(1) of rule 4.
15. Shri Mrigendra Jalan Member representing owners of tea estates and gardens
