Regarding issues related to travel and transportation in the country SHRIMATI SUPRIYA SULE (BARAMATI): Honorable Madam Chairperson, Greetings. Today, my 'Zero Hour' submission focuses on the subject of travel and transportation. In reality, the entire fabric of this nation-encompassing trade, economic development, connectivity, and employment-is inextricably linked to travel and transportation. Consequently, the safety of our railways, aviation sector, and roadways has become a matter of paramount importance. Our Honorable Minister, Shri Gadkari Ji, consistently urges us members to prioritize road safety-specifically asking us to convene meetings and devote our personal attention to this critical issue. Furthermore, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report regarding the railways has also recently been released. Regrettably, due to increased operational speeds, we are currently witnessing a rise in accidents involving trains, aircraft, and motor vehicles. By a tragic coincidence, today marks exactly two months since the passing of my brother; he lost his life in a plane crash on January 28th. When the patriarch-the primary provider of a family is lost, the grief and devastation inflicted upon that family are immense. It is for this very reason that safety-whether in the air, on the rails, or on the roads-is absolutely essential. It has been two months since my brother's plane crash occurred, yet we have still not received justice. My brother served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra; if even he cannot obtain justice, how can the common person ever hope to receive it? My elder brother's son, Rohit, has reached out to various political parties for support. Shri Arvind Ji is present here today, as are representatives from the DMK, the SP, and various other parties. I do not wish to politicize this issue; however, Rohit Pawar made tireless efforts to have an FIR (First Information Report) registered regarding this incident. When his attempts within our own state proved futile, he appealed to authorities in several other states, pleading with them to take cognizance of the matter and ensure that justice is served to Ajit Pawar. If the Deputy Chief Minister of a state meets with an accident and an FIR is not even registered, where are the common citizens supposed to tum for reparation? My brother was a beloved and cherished leader in Maharashtra. With folded hands, I appeal to both the Government of Maharashtra and the Government of India to conduct a thorough and transparent inquiry into this matter. Madam Chairperson, whether it concerns the Ahmedabad plane crash, the helicopter crash that claimed the life of General Bipin Rawat, or the accident in Jharkhand-justice must be dispensed equally in all cases. Justice must be served to everyone involved-be it the pilot, the other crew members (including theyoung woman who was part of the team), or any other individual affected by these tragedies. Initially, we were informed that the aircraft's 'Black Box' had been recovered; subsequently, however, we were told that it had been damaged. I earnestly request the Chief Minister of Maharashtra to conduct a timely inquiry into this matter; furthermore, the government must provide answers to the numerous questions raised. I also appeal to the Government of India to ensure that justice is served to every individual.
