Regarding need for a Railway over-bridge at Bhawanipatna - Kantabanji LJ-19 in Kalahandi Parliamentary Constituency, Odisha-Laid SHRIMATI MALVIKA DEVI (KALAHANDI): I would like to draw the attention of Hon?ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways and Hon?ble Minister of Railways for the urgent need for a Railway Over Bridge in my Parliamentary Constituency of Kalahandi at Bhawanipatna - Kantabanji LJ -19, km 28/12-13. The residents of Bhawanipatna face severe hardship while commuting towards Kesinga due to frequent closure of the level crossing. This stretch has also become highly accident-prone, as heavy trucks and commercial vehicles regularly use this route, leading to traffic congestion and serious safety risks. The construction of a Railway Over Bridge at this location is essential to ensure public safety, smooth movement of traffic, and to prevent loss of precious lives. I urge the Hon?ble Minister to kindly consider this long-pending and genuine demand of the people of Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi, Odisha.
