His ideas significantly influenced the policies that led to the establishment of the Reserve Bank of India in 1935, reflecting his deep economic vision. Despite such a monumental contribution, it is a matter of concern that Dr. Ambedkar?s portrait does not appear on Indian currency notes. Currency is not merely a medium of exchange but a symbol of national identity and collective recognition. Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life to social justice, economic equality, and nation-building. Recognizing him on currency would be a fitting tribute and an important message to future generations about his role as a great economist and architect of modern India. I urge the Hon?ble Government and the Reserve Bank of India to consider including Dr. B. R. Ambedkar?s portrait on Indian currency notes as a mark of respect and historical justice.
