Regarding Need to undertake various road and railway connectivity projects in Godda Parliamentary Constituency and adjoining Deoghar-Dumka-Bhagalpur region in Jharkhand-Laid DR. NISHIKANT DUBEY (GODDA): On behalf of the people of Godda Parliamentary Constituency and the adjoining Deoghar?Dumka?Bhagalpur region, I humbly place the following points for kind consideration of the Government: 1. Bhagalpur?Hansdiha?Dumka-Connectivity (NH-133E Extension); 2. Deoghar?Katoria-National Highway Link NH-333 from Deoghar via Dardmara should be connected to NH-33A via Katoria; 3. Madhupur?Jamtara via Margomunda (Pending Notification); 4. Coal & Power Logistics Corridor (NH-133 Kahalgaon to NH-33); 5. Meherma?Bhagaiya Bypass to Mirzachowki and the Meherma?Bhagaiya bypass must be extended and connected to Mirzachowki; 6. Deoghar?Basukinath Bypass & City Flyover. 7. NH-333 (Dardwa River) ? NH-114A. 8. Godda City Bypass (NH-133 to NH-333A via Kajiha River). 9. Vikramshila?Buddhist & Jain Circuit Connectivity. To realise this vision: Parasnath/Giridih to Vikramshila (Bhagalpur) road connectivity is essential and A new Ganga bridge at Barbhana?Kurshela, along with a parallel railway line, is required. This will integrate Buddhist and Jain pilgrimage circuits, nationally and internationally. These interventions will not only complete missing highway links but will also: Strengthen national logistics; Support power sector evacuation; Decongest major pilgrimage towns; and Unlock tourism, heritage, and regional economic potential.
