Regarding new railway line from Jaynagar to Maipith via
Jamtala for Kultali
SHRIMATI PRATIMA MONDAL (JAYNAGAR): Hon. Chairperson,
Madam, I would like to draw the attention of this august House to
the fact that among the seven Assembly constituencies, Kultali is
one of the most climate-vulnerable constituencies in West Bengal,
falling under my parliamentary constituency, Jaynagar. Even after
79 years of Independence, the people of Kultali have been
deprived of railway services. This is the third time I am raising this
issue.
I would like to request the hon. Railway Minister to take
necessary steps for starting a new railway line from Jaynagar to
Maipith via Jamtala at the earliest. Thank you.
