Regarding railway line connecting Pandharpur to Shegaon SHRI OMPRAKASH BHUPALSINH ALIAS PAVAN RAJENIMBALKAR (OSMANABAD): Honorable Speaker, through you, I wish to draw the Railway Minister's attention to the matter concerning the railway connectivity across the three districts of Solapur, Dharashiv, and Buldhana. Honorable Speaker, Pandharpur is home to the revered Vitthal-Rukmini Temple, while Shegaon houses the sacred pilgrimage site of Sant Gajanan Maharaj. As millions of devotees visit these two locations annually, it is the collective desire of the residents of all three districts?as well as the entire community of devotees across Maharashtra?that a railway line be established connecting Pandharpur to Shegaon. Such a railway line would be extensively utilized, given the massive influx of devotees to these sites. Honorable Speaker, the citizens of Bhum and Paranda, acting through the 'Railway Sangharsh Samiti' (Railway Struggle Committee), have put forth a specific demand for the realization of this railway project. I, therefore, formally request the Central Government?through this medium?to conduct a comprehensive survey for this project and to ensure the timely completion of the railway line connecting Shegaon to Pandharpur.
