Regarding various Railway related issues/projects concerning Godda, Dumka, Deoghar and Pakur in Jharkhand-laid DR. NISHIKANT DUBEY (GODDA): Railways remain the only viable mode of long-distance travel and freight transportation for large parts of my region, particularly Godda, Dumka, Deoghar, and Pakur. I submit the following requests: 1. Expediting the Godda?Pakur Railway Line. The Godda?Pakur rail line has already been announced. 2. Basukinath?Juramu Rail Line (Dumka Coal Blocks). In Dumka district, six coal blocks already been allocated by the Government. 3. Deoghar?Chakai?Koderma Railway Line (Proposed since 1952). Pending since 1952. 4. Passenger & Long-Distance Train Connectivity Gaps Several critical passenger services are missing, especially in the afternoon and evening hours: a-Asansol?Howrah MEMU/Passenger to be extended up to Jasidih b-Introduction of a Jhajha?Jasidih?Howrah passenger train (around 5 PM slot) c- Vande Bharat Sleeper: Godda?Ranchi d- Vande Bharat Sleeper: Godda?Bhagalpur?Howrah e-.Direct train: Godda?Bengaluru f- Direct train: Godda?Surat g- Dumka?Delhi train via Basukinath, as Dumka currently has no direct Delhi connectivity. 5. Development of Multimodal Freight & Logistics Hubs to support coal, agriculture, and tourism-led growth: 1. Tulsitad ? on the Patna?Howrah main section 2. Mahagama ? on the Godda?Pirpainti section 3. Bhawanipur / Vikramshila ? on the Vikramshila?Katoria line, with pit-head infrastructure. These hubs will: -Improve coal evacuation efficiency ? Decongest Road networks -Act as catalysts for tourism.
