On November 13, 2025, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced the reconstitution of the Committee of Advisors (CoA) of Irinjalakuda Town Co-operative Bank Ltd. This follows the imposition of All Inclusive Directions (AID) on the bank on July 30, 2025, and the subsequent supersession of the bank's Board for 12 months, with the appointment of an Administrator, as per Press Release dated October 07, 2025. Shri T.A. Mohammed Sageer resigned from CoA due to personal reasons. The reconstituted CoA, effective November 13, 2025, will consist of Shri Mohanan K, former Deputy General Manager, South Indian Bank, and Shri Mohan T M, former General Manager, South Indian Bank. Reserve Bank of India reconstitutes the Committee of Advisors of Irinjalakuda
Town Co-operative Bank Ltd
Reserve Bank of India had on July 30, 2025, imposed All Inclusive Directions
(AID) on Irinjalakuda Town Co-operative Bank Ltd. The Reserve Bank subsequently
superseded the bank’s Board for a period of 12 months and appointed an
Administrator and a Committee of Advisors (CoA) as announced vide Press Release
dated October 07, 2025.
Shri T.A. Mohammed Sageer, Member of CoA, has expressed his inability to
continue as a Member of the CoA due to personal reasons. Accordingly, it has been
decided to reconstitute the CoA to the Administrator effective from November 13,
2025. The CoA shall now consist of
i) Shri Mohanan K , former Deputy General Manager, South Indian Bank; and
ii) Shri Mohan T M, former General Manager, South Indian Bank
There is no change in the Administrator (Shri Raju S Nair). The Reserve Bank is
closely monitoring the developments and shall continue to take necessary steps in
the interest of the depositors of the bank.
