On January 09, 2026, the Reserve Bank of India conducted an underwriting auction for Additional Competitive Underwriting (ACU) of government securities. The cut-off rates for underwriting commission payable to Primary Dealers have been set.
For 6.68% GS 2040, the notified amount is ₹16,000 crore, the Minimum Underwriting Commitment (MUC) amount is ₹8,001 crore, the Additional Competitive Underwriting Amount Accepted is ₹7,999 crore, the total amount underwritten is ₹16,000 crore, and the ACU Commission cut-off rate is 0.94 paise per ₹100.
For 6.90% GS 2065, the notified amount is ₹13,000 crore, the MUC amount is ₹6,510 crore, the ACU Amount Accepted is ₹6,490 crore, the total amount underwritten is ₹13,000 crore, and the ACU Commission cut-off rate is 1.07 paise per ₹100.
The auction for the sale of securities will be held on January 09, 2026.
