The Government of India, have vide their Office Memorandum (OM) No.F.No. 1/04/2016 –NS.II dated March 18, 2016, advised the revised rate of interest on various small savings schemes for the first quarter of the financial year 2016-17 (copy enclosed). 2. The contents of this circular may be brought to the notice of the branches of your bank operating Government small saving schemes for necessary action.
