  • This notification supersedes previous notifications F.27(8)/88-Edn./2565 dated 30.12.1992 and F.27(8)/88-Edn./118 dated 17.01.1994.

Impact Analysis

Impact on Prospective Employees

  • The age limit of 30 years may restrict some experienced candidates, but the relaxation for government servants provides some flexibility.

Impact on Existing Teachers and Staff

  • The provision for considering seniors who are slightly short of the eligibility service promotes inclusivity.

Impact on Directorate of Education

  • Reduces ambiguity and potential disputes related to recruitment by superseding older notifications and consolidating the rules in a single document.

Suggested Action Items

  • Training programs should be conducted for existing teachers to help them meet the eligibility criteria for promotion.
