ORDER:
In the letter third read above, the Director of Animal Husbandry has Stated that
Government of India vide their letter second read above, have sanctioned an amount of Rs.10.00
lakhs as 1st installment (Grants in aid release) for implementation of the Central Sector Scheme
“Integrated Sample Survey for estimation during the year 2011-12 t with the condition that the State
Government shall contribute their share of 50% percent. This scheme is implemented in the State
with the funds provided by Government of India and State Government on 50:50 basis. Under this
scheme, Animal Husbandry Department collects data on Major livestock Products such as Milk,
Meat, Egg and Wool available in the State to arrive at the contribution of Livestock Sector to GSDP
AND GDP. It is mandatory for the States to estimate these items season wise and submit reports to
Government of India. The above scheme is an ongoing scheme and the amount now released by
Government of India along with Matching State Share is essentially required to meet the salaries of
the state employees working under the scheme. Hence, the Director of Animal Husbandry has
requested the Government to issue budget release order and administrative sanction for Rs.20.00
Lakhs (Central share Rs.10.00 lakhs and matching State share Rs.10.00 lakhs) for implementation
of the scheme.
2. After careful examination of the proposal of the Director of Animal Husbandry and in
pursuance of the Budget Release Order issued in the G.O. fourth read above, Government hereby
accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs. 10.00 lakhs (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) to the
Director of Animal Husbandry, Hyderabad for implementation of the scheme of Integrated Sample
Survey for the estimation of Major Livestock Products during the year 2011-12 under the following
Head of Account (PLAN) :-
