Whereas, it is considered that an Enquiry Officer has to be appointed to inquire into the charges framed against Sri Charles Umapathi, the then Municipal Commissioner (now retd) and Sri K.Sreepada Rao, former C3 assistant of Kadapa Municipality in respect of irregularities under compassionate grounds under medical invalidation scheme during the year 2001. 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule-20 read with Rule 24 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CC&A) Rules, 1991, Government hereby appoints Sri P. MuraliKrishna Goud, the Regional Director-cum-Appellate Commissioner of Municipal Administration, Anantapur, as Enquiry Officer, to inquire into the charges against Sri Charles Umapathi, the then Municipal Commissioner (now retd) and Sri K.Sreepada Rao, former C3 Assistant of Kadapa Municipality.//2// 4.
