No.1513,MA & UD (Viog.II/2)Department, Dt.31.02.2012. 2.From the G.A(COI-R) Dept.,U.O.Note No.23/COI-R/2012, Dated.:04.02.2012. - :: ( ) :: - Whereas in the reference 1st read above, Dr.Subrendu Bhattacharya IAS., Member, Commissionerate of Inquiries, General Administration Department has been appointed as Inquiry Authority, to inquire into the charges framed against Sri G.S.N.Murthy, Municipal Commissioner and (3) others, for failure to supervise over the revenue collections made by Sri K.J.R.Kumar, the then Bill Collector and Sri V.Elisha Babu, the then Work Inspector & Bill Collector (on deputation) in Kakinada Municipal Corporation, for that Rs.19,22,822/- was misappropriated and major financial loss occurred to the Corporation. 2. And whereas, in the reference 2nd read above, the General Administration (C.O.I- R) Department have informed that the case mentioned in para-1 above, has been reassigned to Sri Jitender, IPS Commissioner of Inquiries, General Administration Department and requested to issue revised orders accordingly. 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule-20 of APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991, the Disciplinary Authority hereby reassign the case to Sri Jitender, IPS,, Commissioner of Inquiries, as Inquiring Authority, in place of Dr. Subhrendu Bhattacharya., IAS (Retd.) Member, Commissionerate of Inquiries, to inquire into the charges framed against (1) Sri G.S.N.Murthy, the then Municipal Commissioner, (2) Sri Ch.S.Prakasa Rao, the then Revenue Officer, (3) Sri H.Ganeswara Rao, the then Revenue Inspector (now retired) and (4) Sri K.Subrahmanyam, the then Commissioner, (now retired), who have worked in Kakinada Municipal Corporation. 4. The inquiry authority is requested to submit the report, within two months.
