From the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, Letter No.45444/2011/V2, Dt.25.11.2011. 2. G.O.Ms.No.1, EFS&T (For.III) Dept., Dt.17.01.2012. *** ORDER:- In the reference 1st read above, the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has reported that the Conservator of Forest’s Kurnool and FDPT, Srisailam have submitted proposals for Supply of Bamboo to the Bamboo Weavers for eking out their living. The concerned Mandal Revenue Officer’s and Forest Range Officer’s have enquired and recommended supply of (100) bamboos per family per month. He has further reported the following reasons for supply of Bamboos to the families dependent on Bamboo weaving in making of Tadikalu, Thatties, Buttalu etc., and selling the same for their livelihood. 1. To prevent the families from entering the GBM sanctuary limits for extraction and removal of bamboo. 2. The requirement can be met from the Government bamboo depots. The bamboo will be harvested from regular coupes. 3. To provide Bamboo at the Government depots and help the tribal’s to obtain Bamboo at the same rates as approved by the Government for the members of Co-operative Burood societies. 2. The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has requested the Government to issue necessary orders for supply of Bamboo to the families in the following villages mentioned from the nearest Government Bamboo Depot, at the rates on which bamboo is presently being supplied to the Burood Societies.
