O R D E R:
The Engineer-in-Chief (PH), Hyderabad, in the letters 2nd & 4th read
above, has reported that, in pursuance of the Orders issued in the G.O. 1st read
above, the Zaheerabad Municipal council have passed resolution according
permission for supply of 2.00 Mld of water to M/s. Mahindra & Mahindra and
A.P. Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) and also agreed for entering
into MOU vide Council Resolution No.44/1, dt:27.10.2011. M/s Mahindra &
Mahindra and A.P. Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) have deposited
an amounts of Rs.1,80,90,000/- and Rs.3,55,10,000/- proportionately with the
department, i.e., total Rs.536.00 Lakhs, towards infrastructure works for
providing water supply to them. Further, the Engineer-in-Chief (PH), Hyderabad,
has stated that, to save time and in anticipation of Administrative Sanction for
the work by the Government, have accorded technical sanction and tenders
were called for.
2. The Engineer-in-Chief (PH), Hyderabad, has therefore requested the
Government to accord Administrative Sanction for an amount of Rs.536.00 Lakhs
towards undertaking the infrastructure works under Deposit contribution work
for providing 2.00 Mld of water supply to M/s. Mahindra & Mahindra and
A.P. Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), duly ratifying the action taken
by him in according Technical Sanction and calling tenders, in anticipation of
receipt of Administrative Sanction from Government.
3. Government after careful examination of the proposal, hereby ratify the
action taken by the Engineer-in-Chief (PH), Hyderabad, in having accorded the
Technical Sanction and calling tenders to the work in anticipation of receipt the
Administrative Sanction for the work by the Government.
4. Further, Government accord Administrative Sanction for an amount of
Rs.536.00 Lakhs for taking-up of infrastructure works by Public Health
Engineering Department under Deposit contribution work for providing 2.00 Mld
of water supply to A.P. Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) and
M/s Mahindra & Mahindra Industry from Zaheerabad water supply scheme.

5. The Engineer-in-Chief (PH), Hyderabad, shall take necessary further
action in the matter accordingly.
6. This order dose not requires concurrence of the Finance Department, as
the proposed infrastructures works will be taken up under Deposit contribution
work.
