Civil Services (DCCA) Rules, 1991 has been ordered in the G.O.1st read above, against Sri A.Satyanarayana, former Municipal Commissioner and other staff (8) of Tadepallegudem Municipality, West Godavari District for misconduct and misappropriation of Government funds and for violation of Rule 24 of A.P.C.S. (Conduct) Rules, 1964. 2. And whereas, in the reference 2nd read above, Sri A.S.R.Krishna Rao, Senior Advocate was appointed as Presenting Officer under Rule 20 (5) of A.P.C.S. (CCA) Rules, 1991 to present the case before the Enquiry Officer. 3. And whereas, in the reference 3rd read above, Sri Jitender, I.P.S., Commissioner of Inquires was appointed as Inquiring Authority, in place of Dr.Subhrendu Bhattacharya, I.A.S., (Retd.) Commissioner of Inquiries. 4. And whereas, in the reference 4th read above, earlier, the Director-General, Anti-Corruption Bureau has informed that, the name of Sri A.S.R. Krishna Rao, Advocate has been deleted from the panel of Presenting Officers for presenting the cases on behalf of the Government before the Commissionerate of Inquiries and requested to appoint another Presenting Officer in place of him. 5. Now, in partial modification of the orders issued in the reference 2nd read above, the disciplinary authority in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (5) of Rule 20 of the said rules, hereby appoint Sri M. Vara Prasad Rao as Presenting Officer, in place of Sri A.S.R. Krishna Rao, Advocate to present the case before the Inquiring Authority. 6. The Presenting Officer shall acquaint himself with the facts of the case and present the case before the Inquiring Authority effectively. He is also permitted to obtain and furnish the required documents/records from the Investigating Agency of Jagitial Municipality and produce the same before the I.A. keeping in view of their necessity without referring the matter to Government.
