Memo No.21972/UBS/2007, Dated:23.2.2012 4. From DMA, Hyderabad Lr.No.245/CES/APMDP/2010, Dated:29.12.2011. &&&&& ORDER:- The proposal for establishment of National Institute of Urban Management at Hyderabad has been under consideration of the Government. The Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMA), New Delhi has approved the proposal to establish NIUM as a National Resource Centre, subject to State Government providing detailed drawing plans, EOI for appointment of architectural consultancy etc and recommended release of 1st installment. To commence the activities of the proposed institute, Government considered to constitute a committee for selection of the Person-in-Charge of the institute and also issue guidelines for selection of Person-in-Charge. 2. Accordingly, Government here by constitute the selection committee with the following officers to select the Person-in-Charge for the NIUM. 1. Secretary to Government, MA&UD Chairman Department 2. Prof. V. Srinivas Chary, ASCI, Member Hyderabad 3. Director of Municipal Administration, Member – Convener Hyderabad 4. Project Director, APMDP O/o DMA, Member Hyderabad 3. The above committee shall select the Person-in-Charge for the NIUM by following the guidelines annexed to this order. 4. The Director of Municipal Administration, Hyderabad shall issue paper notification and take further action in the matter.
