O R D E R:
Where as, in the reference 1st read above, orders were issued imposing
a punishment of stoppage of three annual grade increments with cumulative
effect against Sri Shaik Kalesha, the then Town Planning supervisor,
Srikalahasthi Municipality.
2. Whereas in the reference 3rd and 5th read above, Government have
rejected the earlier appeal for dropping further action against him.
3. Whereas, Sri Shaik Kalesha, the then Town Planning supervisor
Sri Kalahasthi Municipality has filed an O.A.No.2282/2008 against the impugned
orders issued against him. The Hon’ble A.P. Administrative Tribunal in the
orders 6th read above, have set a side the impugned orders imposed on the
individual.
4. Whereas, Sri Shaik Kalesha, Town Planning Supervisor, Guntur Municipal
Corporation, while enclosing the A.P. Administrative Tribunal Orders dated.
18.1.2011 in O.A.No.2422/2008 filed by him, has requested the Government to
reduce the punishment to the extent awarded to Sri Mohd. Farooq Ali, the then
Municipal Commissioner, that is one annual grade increment without
cumulative effect in this case.
5. Whereas, Government, keeping in view of the above Hon’ble A.P.
Administrative Tribunal orders and after examining the request of Sri Shaik
Kalesha, TPS, Guntur Municipal Corporation have decided to reduce the
punishment awarded earlier on him i.e. three annual grade increments with
cumulative effect, to ‘one annual grade increment without cumulative’ effect,
on par with the case of Municipal Commissioner, who was also faced similar
charges in this case.
6. Accordingly, in modification of the orders issued in the G.O.1st read
above, Government hereby order that the penalty of stoppage of three (3)
annual grade increments with cumulative effect imposed against Sri Shaik
Kalesha, formerly Town Planning Supervisor, Sri Kalahasthi Municipality and
presently working as Town Planning Supervisor, in Guntur Municipal Corporation
is reduced to one annual grade increment without cumulative effect, on par
with the case of Municipal Commissioner, who was also faced similar charges.

necessary action accordingly.
