Water Supply and Sewerage Board – Permission accorded - Orders – Issued.

Read the following:-
1. From the Engineer-in-Chief (PH) Hyderabad Lr.No.909/T7/3/99,
Dated:28-12-2011, addressed to the Managing Director, Hyderabad
Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Hyderabad.
2. From the Engineer-in-Chief (PH) Hyderabad, Lr.No.1291/T7/2/Vol.II
/2008, dt.28-12-2011, addressed to the Managing Director, Hyderabad
Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Hyderabad.
3. From the Managing Director, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply
and Sewerage Board, Hyderabad, Lr.No.DT/DCE-S6/Vikarabad &
Bhongir Municipalities/11-12/4579, dated:6/9-1-2012.
O R D E R:
In the references 1st and 2nd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (PH),
Hyderabad, has informed that the Ministry of Urban Development, Government
of India have selected Vikarabad Town as a satellite town. The Government is
committed to develop the infrastructure of Vikarabad Municipality in all
respects. After the assurance given by Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and
Sewerage Board for release of 5.40 MLD of water, the Vikarabad Water Supply
Scheme has been executed as source with Singapur reservoir of Hyderabad
Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. Further, the Bhongir Water
supply improvement scheme has been executed under Urban Infrastructure
Development Scheme for Small and Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) to supply 6.00 MLD
quantity of water as agreed by Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and
Sewerage Board. He has therefore, requested the Managing Director, Hyderabad
Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Hyderabad, for release of the
above said agreed quantity of water, so as to commission the above two Water
supply improvement schemes.
2. In the letter 3rd read above, the Managing Director, Hyderabad
Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Hyderabad, while furnishing the
demand from outside Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and the stating
the position of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board,
Hyderabad, have referred the above request of Engineer-in-Chief (PH)
Hyderabad, to Government for issue necessary orders in the matter.
3. Government, after careful examination of the matter and in view of the
prior consent given by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage
Board, Hyderabad, hereby accord permission to provide Supply of 5.40 MLD of
Water to Vikarabad Municipality from Singapur Reservoir of Hyderabad
Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board and to release additional water
to Bhongir Municipality from Sainikpuri Reservoir of Hyderabad Metropolitan
Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Hyderabad.

4. The Managing Director, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and
Sewerage Board, Hyderabad and the Engineer-in-Chief (PH) Hyderabad shall take
necessary action, accordingly.
