From the DMA,Hyd Lr.Roc.No.15226/06/C2, dt:10.11.2011 *** O R D E R In the reference 1st read above, it was brought to the notice of Government by the Hon’ble Lokayukta that certain irregularities were committed in the process of leasing out the canteen as well as shop room by the Municipal Commissioner and other staff of Yemmiganur Municipality. The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, Hyderabad, vide reference 2nd read above has furnished necessary proposals to Government . After careful examination , Government have issued articles of charges against Sri.N.Amaraiah, the then Municipal Commissioner , Yemmiganur Municipality under Rule 20 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal ) Rules, 1991, vide reference 3rd read above and the said Charged Officer has submitted his WSD to the charges, vide reference 4th read above. On examination of the matter, this case was entrusted to Inquiry Authority,vide reference 5th read above. 2. And whereas, in the reference 6th read above, the Enquiry Officer has submitted his Enquiry Report to Government. In the reference 7th read above, the Enquiry Report was communicated to the Charged Officers. In the reference 8th read above, the Charged Officer, Sri.N.Amaraiah, the then Municipal Commissioner , Yemmiganur Municipality has submitted his explanation requesting to drop further action. 3. Government after careful examination of the matter, and in view of the findings of the Inquiring Authority, and recovery of Rs.794/- from canteen lessee decided to impose a minor penalty of “Censure” against the Charged Officer, Sri.N.Amaraiah, the then Municipal Commissioner , Yemmiganur Municipality. Accordingly, Government hereby impose a minor penalty of “Censure” against Sri.N.Amaraiah, the then Municipal Commissioner , Yemmiganur Municipality in this case. P.T.O.-2- 4.
