Lr.Rc.No.36975/2011/CAMPA, Dt:28.09.2011 *** ORDER: In pursuance of the guidelines on State Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (State CAMPA) dt.2-7-2009, issued by the Government of India, the State Government have issued orders establishing the A.P.State Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority(A.P.State CAMPA) for the purpose of enhancement of forest and tree cover and conservation and management of wildlife by utilizing the funds received towards Compensatory Afforestation, Net present Value (NPV) etc. in compliance of the conditions stipulated by the Central Government while according approval under Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 (69 of 1980) for non forestry uses of the forest land vide G.O.5th read above. The A.P.State CAMPA shall consist of Governing Body, a Steering Committee and an Executive Committee. As per the guidelines issued in the reference 3rd read above, two eminent NGOs are to be nominated as Members by the State Government for a period of 2 years at a time who shall be eligible for re-nomination in the Steering Committee and in Executive Committee of State Compensatory Afforestaion Fund Management and Planning Authority (State CAMPA). Accordingly, the State Government in the GO 6th read above, have issued orders nominating certain eminent NGOs as the members in the Steering Committee and Executive Committees of AP State CAMPA for a period of two years from the date of issue of the order. 2. The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Hyderabad in his letter 7th read above has informed that the period of the NGOs nominated in the GO 6th read above, will expire on 16.9.2011 and proposed the following eminent NGOs for nomination as Members in the Steering Committee and in Executive Committee of State Compensatory Afforestaion Fund Management and Planning Authority (State CAMPA). In Steering Committee: 1. Dr. V. Vasudeva Rao, Principal Scientist & Head/Network Coordinator, All India Network Project on Agricultural Ornithology (Fresh nomination) 2. Government, after careful examination of the proposal of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and keeping in view of the guidelines issued by Government of India, hereby nominate the following eminent NGOs as Members in the Steering Committee and Executive Committees of A.P.State Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (A.P.State CAMPA) established in the G.O.5th read above, for a period of 2 years from the date of issue of the order.
