Auditors of Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Hyderabad, for the
financial year 2011-2012 – Orders – Issued.

Hyderabad, Letter No. 3024/Accts/A-IV/2011-250, dated

O R D E R:
In the reference 1st read above, orders have been issued under the
provisions of Sub-section (3) of Section 40 of the Water (Prevention and
Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, appointing M/s. K.R. Bapuji & Co, Chartered
Accountant (Hy0324), 204, Vijayasri Apartments, Nagarjuna Nagar,
Ameerpet, Hyderabad, as Auditors of Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control
Board, Hyderabad, for the financial year 2010-2011, as advised by the
Comptroller and Auditor General of India, with an audit fee of Rs.75,000/-
(Rupees Seventy Five thousand only) per year.
2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Member Secretary, A.P. Pollution
Control Board, Hyderabad has informed that the Statutory Audit for the year
2010-11 has been completed and requested the Government to appoint
Auditors for the year 2011 – 12 as per the recommendation of Comptroller
and Auditor General of India, New Delhi with an Audit fee of Rs. 75,000/-
and reimbursement of actual Travelling, Boarding and Lodging expenses etc.,
for Auditing of Accounts of Head Office and five Zonal Offices of the Board.
3. In the reference 2nd read above, the Comptroller and Auditor General
of India, New Delhi, has advised the State Government, to appoint M/s.
Karvy & Co, Chartered Accountants (Hy0103), No.2, Bhooma Plaza, Street
No. 4, Avenue-7, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad– 500 034, as auditors of A.P.
Pollution Control Board, Hyderabad, for the year 2011-2012, with an audit
fee of Rs.75,000/- per year.2
4. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby issue the
following Notification, which shall be published in the next extraordinary
issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated 10-02-2012:
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Sub-section
(3) of Section 40 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974,
Government hereby appoint M/s. Karvy & Co, Chartered Accountants
(Hy0103), No.2, Bhooma Plaza, Street No. 4, Avenue-7, Banjara Hills,
Hyderabad – 500 034, as auditors of A.P. Pollution Control Board, Hyderabad,
for the year 2011-2012.
ii) The Auditors appointed, shall be paid an audit fee of Rs. 75,000/-
(Rupees Seventy Five thousand only) per year, for auditing the accounts of
Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board for the year 2011-2012.
iii) These orders are issued with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.M&F)
Department vide U.O. No.330/1/A2/Expr.M&F/2012, dated:27-01-2012.
iv) The Member Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board,
Hyderabad, shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
