for Control of Animal Diseases” (ASCAD)– Orders -Issued.

ORDER :
In the letter fourth read above, the DAH, Hyderabad has informed that in the letter,
1st read above, the Govt. of India , have issued revalidation orders for sanction of an
amount of Rs. 231.14 Lakhs ( Unspent amount of out of the funds released / revalidated
during 2010-11) for implementation of the CSS ‘Assistance to States for Control of Animal
Diseases (ASCAD)’ during 2011-12. An amount of Rs.196.89 Lakhs (Rs.170.75 Lakhs :
Balance amount in B.E 2011-12 +Rs.26.14 Lakhs : Additional funds ) is only available for
utilization (under Central share ) under ASCAD as against the Government of India release
of Rs.231 .14 Lakhs. The balance amount of Rs. 34.25 Lakhs (Amount revalidated by GOI :
Rs.231.14 Lakhs – Funds available for utilization: Rs.196.89 Lakhs ) is essentially required
to achieved the proposed targets under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme ASCAD during
2011-12. The DAH has requested the Government kindly to release an amount of Rs.34.25
Lakhs over and above the B.E 2011-12 and also issue BRO and administrative sanction for
the same in relaxation of Quarterly regulation & Treasury control orders to be recouped by
way of obtaining supplementary Grants at appropriate time for meeting the expenditure
under CSS ‘Assistance to states for control of animal Diseases (ASCAD)’ during 2011-12
In pursuance of the Budget Release Order issued in the G.O 5th read above,
Government hereby accord administrative sanction to the Director of Animal
Husbandry, Hyderabad, for an amount of Rs.34.25 Lakhs ( Central Share) (Rupees Thirty
Four Lakhs and Twenty Five Thousand only) as Additional funds towards implementation
of the Schemes of “Assistance to States for Control of Animal Disease”
( ASCAD) in relaxation of Quarterly Regulations Orders during the year 2011-12 under the
following Head of Account (Plan):-

3. This order is issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O.
No.1311/5/A1/Expr.AHFFCS&E/11, dated 09-02-201 2
4. The Director of Animal Husbandry, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the
matter.
