Letter Roc.No.4621/T3/DD/2011, dated: 30.09.2011 2. From Government Letter No.6469/AH.III (1)/2011-1 dated 28.10.2011 3. From the Chief Executive Officer, A.P.L.D.A. Letter Roc.No.4621/T3/DD/2011, dated: 10.11.2011 ORDER:- In the letter first read above, the Chief Executive Officer, A.P. Livestock Development Agency has reported that the A.P. Livestock Development Agency was formed under NPCBB programme of Government of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh funds for the benefit of farmers by way of providing Artificial Insemination activities which in turn increase the productivity. There are (4) Frozen Semen Bull Stations located at Visakhapatnam, Nandyal, Banavasi and Karimnagar functioning under A.P. Livestock Development Agency funded under NPCBB programme of Government of India meant for production of quality Frozen Semen required for Artificial Insemination Programme of the State. All the FSBS have been granted licenses from Quarterly Management System Certification ISO-9001-2000 which means Bull stations has to be maintained under strict aseptic conditions. As per minimum Standards Protocol (MSP) of Sanitary and Bio Security measures, no human habitation or other habitations should be permitted near Bull stations. The presently FSBS, Visakhapatnam is located in old buildings and lacking in certain infrastructure facilities as pointed out by the Central Project Monitoring Unit (CPMU), Government of India. During the last year assessment of the performance of FSBS, Visakhapatnam by the CPMU, Government of India this issue was pointed out and the grading of the FSBS is awarded as “B” i.e below 80 marks out of 100. Keeping in view of the above position, it is necessary to create required infrastructure as per the CMU specifications with the available land at FSBS, Visakhapatnam. Hence, he has proposed to attend various works stated in the reference third read above for creation of additional infrastructure for modernization of the said FSBS, Visakhapatnam with an estimated cost of Rs.180.00 Lakhs by utilizing funds available with DLDA, Visakhapatnam and NCPB and permission requested accordingly. 2. After careful examination of the proposal, Government hereby accord permission to the Chief Executive Officer, A.P. Livestock Development Agency to start the various works proposed in the reference third read above for creation of additional infrastructure with an estimated cost of Rs.180.00 Lakhs for strengthening of FSBS, Visakhapatnam in the existing land available to the extent of 91.40 acres by utilizing the available funds of DLDA, Visakhapatnam and NPCB subject to approval of Civil Engineering estimates and works by competent Engineering authority (P.T.O)-2- 3 The Chief Executive Officer, A.P.
