Read the following: 1) G.O.Rt.No.175, AH,DD&F(F.II) Department, dated.13.4.2011. 2) From the Commissioner of Fisheries, Hyderabad, Letter No.8998 /II/2010, dated.14.03.2011. … ORDER: In the letter second read above, the Commissioner of Fisheries, Hyderabad, has stated that the term of official person-in-charge of the Fishermen Cooperative Society, Khairathabad, as extended in G.O first read above, has expired on 31.08.2011. The elections to the said society could not be conducted due to enrollment of new members. But subsequently, the members of the society unanimously made a general body resolution on 7.8.2011 for conduct of elections. The time for election schedule will take 45 days, during which person-in-charge is to be in existence. Therefore, he has requested the Government to extend the term of the official person in charge of the Fishermen Cooperative Soicety Khairatabad under Section 32(7) (a) of the APCS Act 7 of 1964 for a further period of (6) months with effect from 1-9-2011 or till the elections are conducted and the elected body assume charge , whichever is earlier. 2. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby direct the Commissioner of Fisheries, Hyderabad, that the election to the Fishermen Cooperative Society, Khairatabad shall be conducted before the end of March,2012 and not later than 15th of April, 2012. Accordingly, the person-in-charge of the Fishermen Cooperative Society, Khairatabad, Hyderabad (Urban) will be continued and the term of the person- in-charge is hereby extended under section 32 (7) (a) (i) of the Andhra Pradesh Coop. Societies Act, 1964, from 1.9.2011 only upto that date, which is coterminous with the date of completion of the election as mentioned above. 3. The Commissioner of Fisheries shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly and complete the elections process to the said society within the stipulated period.
