MINORITIES WELFARE (O.P.) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 93. Dated: 31st March, 2012. Read the following:- 1) G.O.Ms.No.174, Finance (A&L) Dept., dated 15-05-2010 2) G.O.Rt No.1971, Finance (A&L) Dept., dated 06-05-2011. 3) G.O.Rt.No.2743, Finance (A&L) Dept., dated 18-07-2011. 4) Govt.Memo.No.3607/O.P./A2/2011-1, dated: 14-11-2011. 5)Application of Sri K.Anjaneyulu, Section Officer, Minorities Welfare Department dated 30-03-2012. ******* ORDER: Under Article 229 of the A.P. Financial Code Volume-I, read with Rule 5 (a), 4 (a) of the House Building Advance Rules, and subject to the terms and conditions laid down in the G.O.(Ms) No.368, Finance & Planning Department dated 26-03-1958, as amended from time to time, Government hereby Sanction an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two Lakhs only) to Sri K.Anjaneyulu, Section Officer, Minorities Welfare Dept., for undertaking 1st Repairs/extension and maintenance of the residential House in Plot No.12-2-506/55/1, Gudimalkapur, Hyderabad. This sanction is subject to submission of the required documents, viz., Estimates and approval plans, etc. 2. The sanction of advances is also subject to the following conditions that:- (i) The advance sanctioned in Para-I above shall be drawn and paid to the individual in one lumpsum. (ii) He should carry out repairs within (6) Six months from the date of drawal of the advance failing which he will be liable to refund the entire amount of advance together with interest thereon forthwith. (iii) The Principal amount of the advance is ordered to be recovered in 24 monthly installments @ Rs.6,800/- in the 1st installment and remaining 23 months @ Rs.8,400/- per month. After the Principal amount is completely recovered, interest at the rate of 5.5% per annum (Simple interest) shall be charged and recovered in 4 monthly installments. The recovery shall commence from the next month following the drawal of Advance, i.e., April, 2012. (iv) He should submit within six (6) months from the date of drawal of advance, Utilization Certificate and completion report from the competent local authority not lower in rank than Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil) to the effect that the repairs have been carried out to his house strictly in accordance with the plan and estimates furnished by him failing which penal interest will be imposed from date of drawal of advance to the date of submission of the above Certificate. (P.T.O.).:: 02 :: 3. Any Amount drawn in excess of the expenditure incurred shall be refunded forthwith, with interest if any due thereon. 4. It will be open to the grantee to repay the amount in shorter period if he so desires. The balance of advance with interest if any remaining unpaid on the date of retirement shall be recovered from the whole or any specified part. of the D.C.R.G that may be sanctioned to him. 5. It is hereby certified that the house has already been mortgaged in favour of the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad Additional mortgage deed in favour of the Government covering the additional advance towards repairs has also to be executed by the loanee. In case the grantee does not repay the balance of the advance due to the Government on or before the date of retirement, it shall be open to the Government to enforce the mortgage any time thereafter to recover the balance of advance due together with interest. The recovery of the advance shall be affected through the monthly pay/leave salary bills of the grantee. If the grantee ceases to be in service for any reasons other than the normal retirement by superannuation or if he dies before the repayment of the advance, the advance shall become payable to Government forthwith. Failure on the part of the grantee on his successors to repay the advance for any reason what so ever will entitle the Government to enforce the mortgage or to take such other action as may be permissible under law. 6. The expenditure shall be debited to the Head of Account “7610 – Loans to Government Servants – M.H. - 201- House Building Advance – S.H. (05) - Loans to Other Officers - 001 - Loans to Other Officers”. 7. The Minorities Welfare (O.P.-Claims) Department are requested to draw and disburse the amount to the individual. 8.
