S.O. 3719(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989, (
Railway Amendment Act, 2008) the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the
table below as “Competent Authority” to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from
the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette in respect of the Special Railway project of “Ruthiyai
Bypass Line” in the state of Madhya Pradesh relating to District mentioned in column (3) of the table below for the
public purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of such Special Railway Project.
