NOTIFICATION Vijayawada, the 23rd September, 2026 S.O. (E).— In exercise of powers conferred by Section 20-A of Sub-section (1) of the Railway Act- 1989 the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the schedule annexed hereto in Andhra Pradesh State of Palnadu District for the purpose of execution of Railway project namely "Construction of two lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No.312 at Km 3/11-13 between Guntur-Nallapadu Stations (Syamalanagar gate) of Guntur Town in the limits of Guntur Municipal Corporation of Guntur West Mandal in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh, hereby declares its intension to acquire such land.
Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazete, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section (1) of Section 20D of the said Act.
Every such objection, shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntur District in writing and shall be set out the grounds there of and the Competent Authority and Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntur District shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
Any order made by the Competent Authority under Sub-section (2) of the Section 20D of the said Act shall be final.
